Crewe, England – The new Bentley Continental Convertible 2011 Super Sport will complete at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010 than last year’s Super Continental Sports Coupe debut. Bentley says his new model is the world’s fastest four-seat convertible and the fastest Bentley ever drop top. The car comes in world trade in high summer.
The performance specifications seems to substantiate this claim.
Continental Super Sport Convertible gets the potent twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine that is rated at 621 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. Like the rest of the 2011 Continental area, it is also “flex-fuel capable, meaning it can be operated either with gasoline or E85 ethanol. The engine four-wheel drives through a ZF six-speed automatic transmission review a Quick Shift gears.
Bentley says that the combination provides 0-60 mph acceleration in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 202 miles per hour.
Continental Super Sport Convertible rides on 20-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels shod with Pirelli 275/35ZR20 high-performance rubber. Bentley has widened the rear track and re-tuned suspension system with carbon-ceramic brakes to further strengthen the cars at high speeds.
The convertible has a cockpit with a satin finish Carbon, alcantara and soft leather handle.
A new convenience pack for all Continental models combines adaptive cruise control, an iPod interface, a massage function for the bank, telephone and a rearview camera.
